Description

 Build a positive, non-judgmental relationship with a group of service users from Centra’s Older People’s Service.
 Help develop gardening skills and knowledge specific to growing food, through group workshops, individually tailored support, guidance and encouragement.
 Work with service users to set up a Gardening Club within the scheme.
 Work with service users and external partners to develop a food growing scheme which fulfils the needs and interests of scheme residents.

Training will be provided by the organisation for this position:

 Volunteers receive a thorough induction and have access to any relevant in-house and external training.
 Volunteers have a named supervisor providing day-to-day support and encouragement.


Reasonable travel and lunch expenses are payable.
